The Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA), together with the Law Council of Australia (LCA) and the Law Society of New South Wales (LSNSW) is organising the Commonwealth Regional Law Conference that will take place in Sydney, Australia, from 19th – 22nd April 2012.
The theme of the conference is The Changing Role of the Legal Profession: Emerging Democracies & Globalisation. The business programme covers a wide range of current issues in the fields of corporate and commercial law and human rights law and there will be a particular focus upon issues of importance within the Australasia region. A unique programme of social and networking events has also been designed to ensure that all those who attend the conference will have an opportunity to meet colleagues from different jurisdictions, exchange experiences and build friendships that will continue long after the closing ceremony. In addition, a range of exhibitors will provide further information and services of interest to today’s legal professionals.
