Speaker:  Katherine Maver, Past President of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association and Senior Managing Consultant IBM. 

Katherine Maver is a champion of diversity both in her workplace at IBM, and in the broader community. She was the first openly trans woman to be appointed on the board of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association (SGLBA).  She will be joining us to speak about her experiences as a trans woman in a professional environment. She will also address the lack of mental health services available to the LGBTQIA+ community during the global pandemic.

The Diversity and Equality SubCommittee of the Women Lawyers Association of NSW champions the rights of and work to promote equality and opportunities for members who identify as:
a) culturally and linguistically diverse;
b) Indigenous;
c) disabled;
d) LGBTQIA+
