‘Adopting a More Conscious Approach to Better Decision Making: Counteracting Unconscious Bias in the Legal Profession’ with guest speaker Heather Price, CEO, Symmetra
Date(s) - 13/10/2015
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
We make errors of judgement every single day because of the design of the machinery of our thinking. Whilst we can’t rewire our brains to eradicate unconscious bias, we can subject all our talent management, practice management and legal decisions to greater scrutiny to counteract unconscious bias from impacting on the quality of these decisions, and in so doing, optimise performance. This session will explore the cycle of bias in the legal profession and how to construct a decision making process that counteracts it.
