Guest Speaker: Dr. Rose Evaster-AderoliliMC: Geraldine Doogue, ABC Journalist

Dr Rose Aderolili was born in Uganda into a polygamous family withnineteen children and three mothers. She has extensive work experiencein the areas of economic and social development. She started her careeras an economist at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development andUganda and later worked as the Economic Attached at the Ugandan Embassyin Brussels. She has worked extensively with the United NationsEconomic Commission for Africa and is currently the Chief of the Humanand Social Development Section where she is the chief advisor tofifty-three member states. She has worked extensively to improve thestatus of women throughout Africa.
