Dear Members & Colleagues

It is with great sadness that we see the passing of Aline Fenwick, a pioneer of women's rights and women in the law, and one of our early Presidents. Some of her many accomplishments and details of the funeral service on Thursday 25 May are noted below.

I urge you to note in your diary our 23 June luncheon and presentation "Advancing Women in Law" by Senator Helen Coonan, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate. Details are noted below with other upcoming events.

Kind regards

Louise Byrne
