Western Sydney Chapter – Official Launch Event
Women Lawyers Association of NSW is delighted to announce the launch of our new Western Sydney Chapter. Please join us for our official launch event is kindly hosted by Western Sydney University in Parramatta on Thursday, 23April 2026.
This chapter has been several years in the making and is now a reality. The Chapter’s focus is on networking, education and advocacy for women lawyers across the large and expanding Western Sydney region. Our new chapter spans from Parramatta, across to Penrith and the lower mountains and onto the burgeoning Macarthur area near the new Western Sydney airport.
Our guest speaker is The Honourable Judy Ryan, former appellate Judge of the Family Court of Australia. Judy was born and educated in Western Sydney. She had a long and distinguished legal career and has continuously been a fierce advocate for this region. We are delighted to have her as our guest speaker for this event.
