Since 1952, WLANSW has been dedicated to improving the status and working conditions of women lawyers in NSW.
The passing of the new WLANSW Constitution at the AGM on 19 November 2013, and the results of a comprehensive review, our Constitution complies with the current legislation and current operations of the Association as noted in the Attachment to the Resolution.
The message that WLANSW is not an organisation exclusively for women lawyers, but is an organisation about the issues faced by women lawyers is now stronger than ever.
You can find out more about becoming a member on our membership page.
An amendment to Sub-clause 2.3(b) of the Constitution was passed at the AGM 20 November 2014. The main purpose was to clarify that a corporate member delegate must be a woman. Please click here for the Amendment and Attachment.
