CPD: Competition and Consumer Law – Tips, Traps and Updates

This is an online event via MS Teams, you will be emailed the link prior to the event.

In this session, our Guest Speaker, Suzanne Howari, will delve into the challenges facing businesses and how they are falling foul with their business practices when it comes to their competition and consumer law obligations.

With the ACCC already making significant waves this year with prosecutions against businesses (big and small) and directors facing personal liability, it has become critical for businesses and their advisors to take proactive action to protect their business and brand reputation.

Attendees will:

  • gain insights about how these legal risks arise (and materialise);
  • strategies to manage those legal risks; and
  • practical tips to best advise and support business clients before (and during) regulator investigations and enforcement action
