Taylah Spirovski

TAYLAH SPIROVSKI

Taylah is a solicitor for the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office in the Torts (Justice) team, representing and advising a range of NSW Government agencies in complex and high-profile tort related civil damages claims.

Taylah is currently a Councillor on the Law Society of New South Wales Council; the youngest board member of Women Illawarra (a not-for-profit community organisation run by women for women affected by domestic violence); and the Chief Executive Officer of youth-led human rights organisation, Voices of Influence Australia.

In 2024, Taylah was the President of NSW Young Lawyers, during which the organisation released a comprehensive guidebook titled “Demystifying Pro Bono: Contributing to Closing the Access to Justice Gap in New South Wales”, aiming to illuminate the pathways available for young lawyers to engage in pro bono work, which currently available on the Law Society’s website.

In December 2023, Taylah and some of her peers received the ‘2023 NSW Young Lawyers Community Project of the Year’ award for their event on ‘Advocacy and Community Leadership: How to effect broader change with lawyer skills outside of lawyering’, which raised money for the Women’s Housing Company.

And in August 2023, Taylah was awarded ‘Woman Lawyer of the Year (under 5 PQE)’ by the Women Lawyers Association of NSW.

Katrina Johnson

Katrina Johnson

Katrina Johnson is an accomplished legal professional with over 20 years of senior executive experience in global, high-growth technology companies. She joined ASX50 technology company WiseTech Global in 2020, where she is currently the Group Company Secretary & Head of Regulatory Affairs and a member of the global Senior Management Team.

Previously, Katrina held senior executive roles at Uber, including Associate General Counsel and Head of Legal for the Asia Pacific region. She also held senior legal and business leadership roles within the eBay & PayPal group of companies in Asia Pacific and the US.

In addition to her executive experience, Katrina has served as Non-Executive Director and Member of the Audit & Risk Management Committees at ASX-listed technology companies Straker Translations and Trade Me Group. She currently serves on the Regulatory Subcommittee of the Tech Council of Australia, and was a Founding Advisory Board Member of the UNSW/Allens Hub for Technology, Law & Innovation.

Katrina has received numerous professional accolades throughout her career, including being listed in Attorney Intel’s global Top 25 General Counsels in Software, the GC Powerlist for Australia, and Australasian Lawyer’s Elite Women in Law. She is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Linda MackinlayLinda Mackinlay

Linda Mackinlay is a Partner in Bartier Perry’s Workplace Law & Culture Team. Linda has 18 years’ experience as a workplace relations lawyer including roles both in private practice and as an in-house counsel.

A trusted adviser to federal, state, local government and corporate clients, Linda advises in all workplace matters including industrial relations and human resource management, anti-discrimination, terminations and workplace litigation and has a strong knowledge of the government, health and tertiary education sectors.
