Carolina Soto is a mentor, lecturer and Barrister who specialises in criminal and mental health law. She was Associate to Judge Williams in the District Court and volunteered at various legal centres. She studied at Western Sydney University which led to a Masters in International Relations in International Human Rights Law. She is the first lawyer in her family and the first Chilean barrister in NSW. Carolina is committed to breaking down barriers, particularly women entering the legal arena. She opened up her own chambers in 2020 which introduced a more balanced and healthier way to lead at the Bar.
