‘Define Your Own Success’ with Jen Dalitz, internationally recognised Gender Diversity Expert and Business Leader
Welcome to the Women Lawyers Network, a thriving community built to empower you to create the career you want. On 1 May 2014, the WLN will host its first ever “Inspiration before Breakfast” event with Jen Dalitz, internationally recognised Gender Diversity Expert and Business Leader.
‘Define Your Own Success’ with Jen Dalitz 7.00am-8.00am Thursday 1st May 2014 McCullough Robertson, Level 16, 55 Hunter Street, Sydney
Jen has recently been exploring the idea of defining your own success. Sounds simple – but Jen has found that we generally allow others to tell us what our success should look like. Today, our careers are taking a far less linear progression, in the words of Sheryl Sandberg “Careers are a jungle gym, not a ladder”. Jen shares her ideas on how we can be the architect of our own happiness by taking control of how we define “being successful”. Join Jen as she delivers a healthy dose of inspiration alongside coffee, platters of fruit and pastries and a variety of teas and juices.
We believe that your personal development is as important to your career as your technical skills and professional skills. These informal seminars are about building your passion for your career and give you some food for thought to make your experience in law a more positive one. We hope to see you secure your place for a morning filled with ideas, breakfast assortments and coffee – all before you start your work day.
These breakfast events will start at 7am sharp and finish at 8am sharp so you can make it to work on time. Tickets are free to our valued members and, as always, you are welcome to invite any colleagues, friends or clients – male or female – as your guests for just $20 + BF.
The “Inspiration Before Breakfast” event series is proudly hosted by McCullough Robertson Lawyers, who have offices nationally across Australia. All WLN events are designed to allow personal development, inspiration and networking to fit within life as a busy lawyer.
